Jamie’s extensive expertise in the legal field is grounded in her distinguished academic and professional journey. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, where she was honored as one of the University’s Top Ten Graduating Seniors. Furthering her education, Jamie attended the University of Oklahoma School of Law as a Justice Harry Halley Scholar, obtaining her Juris Doctor degree.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Jamie's legal career began in the private sector, focusing on insurance defense and corporate litigation. Her adeptness in these areas paved the way for her role with the State of Oklahoma, where she served as Assistant General Counsel, specializing in insurance regulation and administrative litigation.

Her expertise expanded as she assumed the position of Corporate Supervisor at a Fortune 100 energy company. Subsequently, Jamie advanced to the role of Vice President and General Counsel at both statewide and national health care companies. In these roles, she was instrumental in overseeing operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

In addition to her corporate roles, Jamie has made multiple contributions to academia as an Adjunct Professor, where she imparted knowledge in employment law and compensation law.

ENTREPRENEURIAL ENDEAVORS

Recognizing an unmet need in the health care sector, Jamie, alongside her colleagues, founded a successful physician house-call business aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the elderly in Oklahoma.
